20.07.08 ~ me and my sucky updating skills.

I should get slapped. Or whacked, or something. My sincerest apologies for the lack of updates yet again - I'm so so sorry. I was hoping to update a lot more during the holidays but I've just been loaded with so much work over these two weeks. It just felt like school at home, really. How pathetic.

And unfortunately don't expect any updates from me any time soon - I have some major assessments and exams coming up this term, and since Year 11 only has three terms, this is essentially my last term in Year 11. So it's gonna be insanely hectic. Then along comes Year 12, my last year of high school and without a doubt the most important year of high school too. It's make or break. Realistically, I think I'll only be updating once a month from now on. I hope to update more though.

Anyway, onto the update. I've got four new pieces to share today, which I'm fairly happy about but they feel a bit rushed to me. *shrugs* The first is Dean/Bela from Supernatural - they're pretty cool, except of course Bela's dead x/ I started watching SPN again, and I was sitting there going "why did I ever *stop* watching this show!?" Second piece - Doctor/Astrid from Doctor Who (the 2007 Christmas special) - this was the first episode of DW I'd ever seen, so naturally I have a bit of a soft spot for these two. Except Astrid died too. *sigh* Thirdly, a Doctor/Rose piece, yet again from Doctor Who. These two are sweet :)

Yeah, Doctor Who is totally my new obsession at the moment. :D

Last but not least, Alice/Jasper from Twilight. Unless you live under a rock, you'll probably be aware of the Twilight craze that's happening. It's insane. My friend told me to read the book, so I did, and frankly I don't see what the fuss is about. I mean, it's a good book, yes, but I've read better. Stephanie Meyer's writing is, um... I won't comment. ==" Personally, I find Edward/Bella a tad bit, I don't know, boring? They just don't draw me in. I don't find them believable or realistic. Yes, they're sweet/cute/whatever but I'm just not that into them. But that's just me. Plus, the guy that plays Edward was in Harry Potter and I have an automatic distaste for anything Harry Potter related (yeah, I know, I should really grow up. But I don't hate it as childishly as I used to xP). Thus the reason I didn't make a piece on them. But I probably will eventually.

Of course, there's still another two books for me to read, and the fourth book is due to be released in what, two weeks? So my opinion could all change after I read those. When I can be bothered to, of course. ;)

So yeah, that's all from me for the time being. Comments are love as always. I'll see you all soon, hopefully! :) Much love!
